Prep students who plan to audition at major U.S. music colleges and conservatories
will need top sight reading, ear training, rhythm, and ensemble performance levels for their auditions, in addition to high level solo works. Most top schools now include sight reading, and ensemble components in their auditions, in an effort to select only the best prepared young artists from international candidates.
Annual (30 weekly sessions) include comprehensive classes from Sept-May and regular public performance. This summer session gives a jump start and a 'taste' of future pre-college development that helps prepare for successful auditions, and for a very rewarding future in music whether as a vocation or an avocation. Be the best you can be!
We look forward to helping you achieve your goals!.
