Children's & Junior Sessions - ages 6-10.

9 AM Explore Music (tba)
Younger students enter the enchanting Wonder-land of Music!
Have fun experiencing, exploring, utilizing the basic elements of music!
Solfége (listening, ear-training, singing).  Exploring rhythm with movement.
Simple Music Theory.  Creative expression for Melody, Harmony and varieties of music, including simple Improvisation and Composition

9 AM Musical Detective: (Ms. Bush)
More advanced exploration of basic elements, including singing, performance, and simple composition, for students who are studying any instrument. Discoveries in ear training, movement, theory. Name that interval, experience the beat, and find the form! Students are welcome to bring their own music on the first day for use later in the week!

10 AM Choir: (Ms.Flelsher)
Sing the songs from different countries with your friends.

10AM Sight Reading for Strings: (Ms. Bush)
Learn the basic skills of sight reading for string players.

11AM Dalcroze Eurhythmics - RHYTHM (Ms. Flesher)
Total experience of music with internationally respected creative approach by Emile Jaques-Dalcroze (Swiss Music Educator, Composer) through Movement, Solfège and Improvisation.

11AM Sight Reading for Pianists: (Ms. Bush)
Learn the basic skills of sight reading for pianists.

12 Noon Ensembles (Academy Coaches)

1 PM Lunch Break (refrigerator on site)

in the Prep progam if qualified.at that level.
