The Academy of Music Northwest has 3 Comprehensive Programs:
Children - ages 3-10
Pre-College - ages 11-18
Adult - special programs & group classes - are more general
in nature,
but Adult Composition & Special Tutoring are also available.

Most classes, small
chamber music ensembles, and Singers program
meet in Bellevue on Saturday afternoon.
An additional location in Edmonds/Lynnwood area will be added on
weekdays/nights when
enrollment is adequate.
The Classical Guitar program meets in Bellevue on Tuesday nights.
The Chamber Orchestra meets in north Seattle on Tuesday nights.
Some classes, rehearsals, and private tutoring (all ages) may meet
in other locations.
Most private lessons are held in private teacher studios throughout
the Pacific
Northwest. A few lessons for Childlren may be taken at the school
on Saturday.
Concerts, recitals, benefits, outreach programs are held throughout
the year in many
locations.

Class Year
September - June. Regular classes, rehearsals,
one-time classes, concert
and benefit dates are announced on the Calendar page.
Summer Program dates are announced on the Summer page.
Workshops, Master Classes are listed on the Master
Class/Workshop page.
Special Classes, and Benefits are also listed on the News page.
Special Classes run from 2 to 10 hours, as announced.
These are usually held on weekday evenings, one evening each week.
Class Size
Music Studies classes have from 5 to 10 students,
with the smaller size for younger Children.
Special 'one time' classes have size limits determined
by the instructor.
Ensembles are usually trios, quartets, and often include
piano.
Duo ensembles are available for an increased tuition
to cover actual cost.
Vocal and Choral ensembles vary in size.
Chamber Orchestra has up to 20 members, with additional
members required by the music.
All offerings are subject to sufficient
enrollment.
