Overview

The Academy emphasizes total musicianship.  This means that ALL students are required to learn basic and advanced music theory, music literature and history, and are given instruction in music composition.  These pages highlight some of the remarkable achievements of these students, in both performance and in composition.

Through the magic of Sibelius (our standard notation software) and the various sound production tools available to our support staff, we are able to present here, the best examples of our students and faculty work.

To take advantage of the latest in streaming audio, and to be able to listen to the academy students in live performances, download the Microsoft® Windows Media Player by clicking on the icon below:

Student Compositions
Sibelius logo. Here we present the actual music manuscript that the Students created.  Using the Sibelius * Scorch for Windows plug-in, which you can download directly, not only will you be able to see the music, you will also be able to play it if your computer has a General MIDI compatible sound card!  In addition, if the same music was recorded live, we will also include a Microsoft Windows Media Player (WMA) compatible snippet of the sound track.
