Violin Master Class
Saturday, October 18, 2008 - 12Noon-2PM
with Brian Lewis, Univ. Texas at Austin
International soloist, chamber music performer,
& master class presenter.
Violin students of Simon James, The Coleman Violin Studio
will perform in the master class with
Accompanist, Hiro Imamura David.
Ms. David is also an Academy Ensemble Coach, Teacher,
and private studio teacher.

The public is welcome.

International soloist, chamber music performer, & master class presenter.
Four violin students of Simon James, The Coleman Violin Studio
will perform in the master class with Accompanist,
Hiro Imamura David.

Violin Master Class
Friday, March 14th 2008 with
James Ehnis, Soloist with Seattle Symphony, March 13-16, International performer & master class presenter.
Violin students of Simon James, Coleman Violin Studio
performed in the master class, and were accompanied by
Hiro Imamura David, Coleman Studio Accompanist
Academy Coach and Teacher, Private Studio Teacher.

November 17th, 2007
September, 15, 2007
with David Lewis, University of Texas at Austin.
International performer/teacher/master class presenter.
All students in the David Lewis Studio are recipients of full
"Sparling Scholarships".
Sarah Pizzichemi, Academy Alumnus, was the first Academy student
to receive this honor. David Lewis also gave private lessons to students in the Academy's Coleman-James studio.

'Cello Master Class, Saturday, June 9th, 2007
with Joshua Roman, Principal 'Cello, Seattle Symphony.
Four Academy 'cellists participated.

EROICA TRIO - comment:
"We could think of only one or two master classes we have given
(and we give many, mostly at colleges)
where the quality of the playing was better."
Two of 12 Academy ensembles performed piano trios
by Shostakovich and Faure.
