Welcome to the Academy of Music Northwest, the Puget Sound's premier pre-college music program. Since 1997, we have dedicated ourselves to preparing area students for admission to the country's top music schools and conservatories, and/or for a life in which music performance, teaching, composing,supporting and enjoying will remain an important part of their lives.

AMNW offers a place to thrive and grow with like-minded students and faculty.
We help young classical musicians learn to express their curiosity, creativity, and unique musical voices.

Our faculty, in addition to being accomplished performers, composers, and teachers are dedicated to developing young artists.

Through weekly comprehensive music classes essential for informed musicianship; regular performance through professional coaching in small and large ensembles, chamber orchestra and solo performance; Academy students are ushered into a rich musical community that can become a home for them throughout their lives.
